The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, like most purebreds, has its share of health issues that need to be considered before adding to your family.   You should spend significant time researching these conditions and how they are diagnosed and treated before committing to bringing one into your home.

Our dogs are proudly and diligently health tested.  They are screened via DNA (or parentage) for Dry Eye, Curly Coat, and Episodic Falling.  We test eyes via a board certified ophthalmologist, hearts by a board certified cardiologist,  patellas, and also undergo MRI screening for CM/SM.   We are happy to explain our testing to any interested family and, of course, show it too.

For more  information regarding the health issues in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, please visit www.cavaliercanada.com/health.php  where you will find detailed information about common breed issues.
